La siempre elegante y musical Anne Sofie von Otter se hace acompañar acá por un ensemble compuesto por violín  guitarra, acordeón, órgano, cello y contrabajo, el resultado es bastante intimo y alejado de las rimbombancias de otros recitales. El disco se grabó en entre 1998 y 1999 y apareció en las tiendas en la navidad de ese mismo año.
